Calatrava

Graphic Design, 2024

Overview

Calatrava: Structural Rhythms is an exhibition identity system that explores the organic, repeating patterns within Santiago Calatrava's architectural works. Through a restrained palette of blue and white, the system captures the architect's signature biomimicry through deliberately imperfect repetition—where forms echo but never duplicate exactly, creating a visual rhythm that evolves across applications. This approach mirrors Calatrava's ability to translate nature's mathematical patterns into monumental architecture while embracing subtle variations that give his structures their distinctive living quality.
